Also Gin-Gin discovered a veeeeeryyyy Splendour'ish image at random. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/89/261145741_e72e83fbdd_o.jpg It's apparently a very old ad by Henry Clive and it's almost uncanny how this captures something Splen'ish. The first seconds I even swore she made nostalgic fanart eventhough her mail clearly mentioned she didn't make it! And eventhough I project this comic on tons of things I consume - while watching Superman Returns a month ago for the first time for example - this image is more than some vague comparison based on bald guys/campy ladies, it's the essence of Splen in one image that someone once made ages ago and that I never saw in my life. In short: Culture works in awesome ways!
